Determine video length on upload?

Hi all!

I'm working on a site and have a question. Is there a way to determine the length of an uploaded video? I know that file size isn't a dependable method in this quest due to the variance of compression, quality, etc.

Any help in this quest would be most greatly appreciated!

FFMPEG-PHP seems to be what you are looking for. If you are not using PHP, then you will still be able to determine that information using FFMPEG w/o the PHP API.
