Desktop Program to Play and Fade Two Audio Streems
I stumbled upon a freeware program that allows the playing of two separate audio files, and the ability to fade between the two - something like a DJ would use. I must not have saved it in my bookmarks because now that I could use it, I can't find it.
Does anybody know of a desktop program that can accomplish this?

try audacity or wavepad
They do not handle streams - they work on files.

I'm looking for something that can play multiple files, like an FX sound board. This program looked promising, but I need the ability to stop a sound from playing or fade one out.

I am sure you can open multiple files, overlap them, process them etc with Audacity.

Haven't used any of them from there, but I found it the other day when looking for a music sample mixer myself
