Deleting posts from forum
Hi,
My friend is the administrator of a web site. He needs to delete a thread from a forum on his web server. But he is not a tehnical person. Can anybody please provide simple instructions to accomplish this task?
Thank you very much.

What is the forum or at least the software used for it?

His web site got all the threads from a USENET provider. One of the threads in alt.meditation needs to be deleted. I am not sure if this answers your question. Pl let me know

This is the scenario. If a search is made in Google for a specific word, this thread is retrieved from his web site (he is the owner of the web site). But he does not want it to be found in the Google search. Is it enough if he just goes to the directory and delete the html file? Or does he need to do more? Thank you.

I'm not sure how that works but I don't think you could delete things from usenet unless you were an admin there. You'd have to contact the moderators of that list to get it removed. Again, I'm not sure how that would work.
A link to your friend's forum would be helpful
