CustomizeGoogle Firefox Add-on
Hi guys and girls,
This is my first thread here. I've been lurking for a while, jumping in where I can to help out, and have really been enjoying this community. So, thank you.
Anyway, this may not be news to you guys, but I just found out about this Firefox add-on a little while ago, and I think it's pretty cool. It's called "CustomizeGoogle."
It streams Google result pages and appends them to the first page as you scroll down, so there's never the need for a page 2. It also adds position numbers, links for social bookmarking sites, and filters to each search result. There are more features, but you get the gist.
The Add-in author has some cool videos that demonstrate what it does here:

You can download it from the author's site or Mozilla:

PS - If you install it, you have to check "Stream Search result pages [BETA]" under Tools > CustomizeGoogle.

Glad to hear you like it here, welcome to the forums (belatedly).
That sounds like a pretty cool plugin! Are you the developer?

Hi JeevesBond!
Thanks for the warm welcome
No, I'm not the developer. LOL! I wish I could make something like that. I found it on Digg last night, and it's the best add-on since Firebug (IMO), so I figured I'd spread the word.

Fair enough indeed, it does seem like a rockin plugin! Firebug though, I love that plugin! Normally I use Opera, but open up Firefox just to use Firebug. It saves so much debugging time!

Yeah, I love Firebug. It's like a separate piece of software. Is use Firebug and IE Tabs pretty much everyday, but that's about it. I don't like being slowed down by intrusive extensions. The CustomizeGoogle one is a keeper though.
