Cross browser compatibility test site
Anyone ever used one before? I didn't know they existed.
I've just come across this site:
http://browsershots.org/
and wondered if anyone else uses them or another similar site?
It seems like a good idea, but never having tried one wonder if it works well.

I use it all the time. I even have a couple of shot factories that I let run from time to time.

Do you find them accurate? Enough to rely on without checking at all in a browser yourself?

Yup. When you submit your website to be viewed in let's say IE 7.0 on Windows, browsershots forwards that request to a shot factory running Windows and IE 7.0. That computer loads up the browser, loads the page, takes a screenshot, and uploads that back to the website.
You will occasionally get a screenshot from a messed up machine, but it's accurate for the most part.

I used to use browsershots a lot more before Safari for Windows was available (which appears to have the same engine and issues as the Mac version)
It's a good tool to quickly check for problems (on my Vista with IE7 I need to fire up a Virtual PC to use IE6)

I used it too. And it is really good idea.
They have show almost 66 browser shots, so you can know how your site look like.
