Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to convert a web site from english into Japeneese? Can this be done? How so?

You really really really don't want to automate this sort of thing. It is NOT a good idea. Hire a translator and have it done properly.

This is one area (culturally sensitive) that you don't want to automate things.

How do you actually put Japeneese on the web? I know they dont use normal english or alphabet. How would this be done? Is there certain code you need to use or what? Im kinda confused on this. I have someone who knows Japeneese, I just need to know how to put it on the site.

I would recommend investigating the source (see above) and getting in touch with a Japanese developer.

Thank you very much for your help. I will have to check it out. The only reason I am curious about this is because I have a Japeneese person who wants a site done completly in Japeneese by us. I have never done a site like this so this is a first. Thanks for all your help though. Any other feedback would be appreciated.

Edited the post above to add a couple more links, notably the w3c resource may be of help.

Good luck!
