Well, I don't know which one I will have at the momement yet. I am NOT interested at all in ones you have to pay for thanks (or 30 day trials that are free, I want a permament one.) I have NO money to fork out at all, so PLEASE, only suggest the free ones. I will tell you when I've decided which one to have, and please keep the suggestions coming in.

If you are looking for more flexibility with a free chat room, I suggest hosting it yourself. There are several free webspace providers that offer free space for CGI Scripts, PHP and MySQL Databases. You can find a suitable chat room script at the Resource Index. Here is a list I got from another forum that I use(this list is quite long)...

I would disagree with the notion to install chatrooms yourself if you are on shared/virtual hosting. The reason for this is MANY hosts ban installing chat scripts on their servers because of their extremely bandwidth-intensive nature -- chatrooms are notorious for hogging bandwidth and are likely against your host's TOS.

ywith, what's wrong with QuickChat.org? It's free, ad-free, no trials, and remotely-hosted. Works just like an IRC room with the same commands.
