Can someone help?
I built a web with FrontPage and published it. Here's the problem. My home page will only display at the url mysite.com/index.html
How do I make the home page display when you simply enter mysite.com?
Simple question, but I am lost here

Speak to your hosting company to see what their set up is, sounds to me like there is something a miss at their end.

is this a local server? what server software are you using?
if you've purchased hosting from someplace then you'll have to ask them and they should be able to fix this.

Unfriendly configuration of the server may require you to use any of index.htm, default.html, default.htm, or others for the index page filename. Iirc, Brinkster required index pages to be default.htm or default.asp. If you're not managing the server, look in the provider's documentation -- any such deviation from the norm is usually recorded.

If you are using Frontpage try renaming the index.html to default.htm. Frontpage extensions recognize this as the front page in most instances.
