can anyone help me mod a forum?
looking for someone to help me change the looks of some basix forums, I do not know how to change or update templates or overall look of forums.

Now it depends on the forums script. I have modded only phpBB so far since I couldn't afford a paid option. The main thing is to edit the CSS file that governs the forum and open the images and go crazy about them
As for the other changes .. there are mods/hacks that help you in this. The best thing fo r you would be to go to the script developer community and look there for the info. This is a common thread there and you'll get the help from the masters
