Business Card Judging Site Online...
I just finished developing this site almost entirely from scratch in just 2 hours. Whew! I plan on improving the design, HTML, CSS, etc in the future, but would love for some business card submissions and voting in the meantime.
Not fishing for a critique, as I'm not even done with this design. Just looking for any interest out there.

Cool Concept! Tried submitting a Card... It works, but when I checked the "Top 10" page the latest entry shows this error: "Warning: Division by zero in /usr/www/users/tandsweb/cardjudge.com/top10.php on line 70"
Some Suggestions:
I wish you have a "View All Cards" page and then when you click the thumbnail of the card it shows it's full-size and then theres a vote and rank below it...
Also add a code that records the IP of the voter so he can't vote on the same card over and over...

Not bad, Tim. You know, as much web design you do, why don't you get royalty free pictures for your clients to have? I use istockphoto to get my photos. It really makes a difference when you have pictures or better graphics.
I think the page and layout looks nice, but the reason I brought this up is because of how weak the graphics look for the hammer. It looks fake and not very serious. Just my opinion of course.
Sincerely,
Kevin Lam

Have you checked out logopond? They do a really nice job, and I think your site is similar enough that you could use some of their ideas.
I think you need a 5 star voting system, I don't think the rating system you have now is accurate enough. What happens when someone thinks the logos are equally good (or bad)? And if you really want something sweet, make up some kind of membership system so people can keep track of their logos. It would also be nice to have comments. I don't know how hard that would be to code, but it'd be cool. More "social" too

I actually can't stand the star voting system. It's always harder for me to rate on a scale than it is to just pick between two cards.
In addition to overhauling the design today, I also added a permalink system. I plan on also adding the ability to log in, and comments is a great idea.
Kevin, I do use istockphoto.com, actually. On the new design, the photo in there is from them, actually. And I use them for clients all the time, though I generally prefer to do custom photography. (Not me, my photographer.)
The whole site, including that first design, was done in literally two hours last night. The only code I'd previously written was the image uploading script.
Oh, and I fixed that division by zero error too, Demonhale. If I missed it anywhere, let me know.
I also added a page today to see all cards. Currently no sorting options, just the latest up top.

Like the new Scheme... Although the head of the woman is cut-off... The page title on top looks pale too... Can I suggest an edit?
I like the rounded approach there... and the new layout of the rank preview and views...
This looks promising. And I dig the comments suggestion and register...

Thanks for the suggestions, demonhale. I just made a couple of quick changes. I also started a critique thread for the design.

Hey Tim,
Yeah, I'm looking at the updated design - MUCH better. I like that.

I just uploaded two, my existing (that needs to be re-done due to a move) and a potential new one for a potential photography sideline.

Voting is odd though...I had to keep clicking 'Vote' several times in order to get to the Meg Guess card.

How I have it set up right now, it just randomly picks two different cards. So the more cards that get added, the harder it will be to randomly pull up one particular card.
I like your business cards that you put up there, Roo. Nice!
I initially had put a few very plain cards up there, and I'm wondering now if I should take them down, or just go ahead and leave them up.
Here are the ones I'm referring to:
