I am looking for an HTML editor for Mac OS X. What would you suggest? I currently use Creatext.

The best editor is Dreamweaver, you can buy it for about 100 bucks if you're a student. Otherwise go with nvu.com I don't know for sure if it runs on a Mac, you might need to look it up. It is the only WYSIWYG editor I know of. I am sure there are other that members will recommend though.

I don't want a WYSIWYG editor, I want a straight HTML editor.

Well I've always used bbedit..great features, mostly because I do more php and perl than html really. So it might not be as good for html as I paint it to be. And it is also like $25 or something..but bare bones programmers deserve those scraps..heh.

However, since free is your stipulation - check these out
