Can any one recommend a script for banner rotation, where the banners aren't held on our site/server but are affiliate's banners and therefore remotely hosted??

That one Marc only allows you to use it for free if you host the banners and if you want to use code rotation you have to pay. Unless I have understood it wrong??

Learn new lanuage? It's just a script to install and use. No need to learn anything except how to use the administration area.

No, it's free and you can use the code rotation on any site. You can use banner URLs from any site, as well -- I have a few from CJ, for example.

Just to add..

The phpAdsNew gives you too many options Wink You can create different advertiser/publisher accounts and give them their own login/password if you'd like. You can have banners on your own server, other sites, HTML ads, etc. You have the option to limit each banner by CPM, CPC and much more. You even have options to choose how you want your ad to show (you can even choose to have it show up like geocities!). There are thousands of sites using this script. It's an amazing script.

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with OrbitCycle, it is very easy to use (once you've read the instructions properly!) and gives excellent tracking stats and works really well. Thanks for the link Marc Smiling

Edit to above - since putting it onto my site everytime I go to the page it is on I get a virus warning come up. Now I have taken off the script and it no longer brings up the warning.

The warning said : virus or malicious codes infected with JS Seeker

Marc as you use it have you had any problems or do you know what is causing this?

Unfortunately, this has happened to me and other users of it. What you should do is try another version of the same ad code and it should eliminate the problem. Also, try e-mailing OrbitCycle as they always have been very responsive to me. Don't know why it does that but I do recall some discussions on this at GeekVillage.com if you are curious. Smiling

I did email them and they said to try the code again, which I did and now the warning message has stopped. Odd!

*Same* thing happened to me! All that matters is it works now, though. Smiling
