Advertising Programs and Affiliate Programs
Well anyway I was just wondering... so far I am a member of AdSense... AdBrite... Commission Junction... and Amazon Affiliate. Which one if any do people think works the best?
So far I have earned change for one site atleast with Adsense, but nothing with the others on any of my other sites. Yet I heard somewhere else that AdSense was going kinda bad and nothing really else for the others.
Well if anyone uses any of them? Whats been your experience with them?

I'm involved with a number of sites that use various affiliate / ad programmes.
Adsense is definitely the biggest across the sites I am involved in. Can't give details, but over a year the annual adsense income across sites is in the 6 figure range.
Affiliate wise I would rank Affiliate Window and Tradedoubler as being way better than CJ. In fact even the smaller networks such as AffiliateFuture and Webgains do more than CJ for us. Part of that that is probably because CJ are such a pain that we concentrate on the others. Sure that their merchants are just as good though. Amazon is OK, but the commissions and cookie periods are a bit slack in my opinion. Not used adbrite.

Hey well Amazon has added a new part to there program which is in Beta right now. Basically it is a small way or providing a shop on your pages. It ain't bad but there ain't really that many customizing options.

Dont know about affiliate programs but if you are based in the US I would try YPN it seems to pay better than adsense.
