What are your opinions about PHP language future? Does this language have any perspectives or it will be replaced by a new technology later? What do you think about this?

Who knows? COBOL and FORTRAN were devised in the 1950s and are still in wide use today, mostly in legacy applications. Smalltalk looked like a great O-O language in the early 1990s but died a quick death. And BASIC might have been long dead by now if a certain billionaire had not staked his future on it.

My wizard's crystal ball is foggy here. Sorry.

PHP is a very popular language. In the future, I would bet that not only will it still be around, but will be more advanced with more functions & flexibility.

I can only guess that it will remain used by many and the number of users will only grow with time.
It is constantly being developed and updated for new requirements and improvements. Security aspects improved etc

It's free and allows for extremely complex or simple tasks to be carried out, from complete site member management to simply redirecting a page.

Things like this usually disapear when the alternatives/competition become better and/or cheaper.
What competition or alternatives are there to PHP? Taking into account PHP is continuoulsy being developed and updated, is free and has a HUGE amount of resources available for learning and support (also free).

Like HTML, PHP will be around for generations to come.

I agree that PHP will be around for a while. It's pretty hard for open source projects to die, especially when so many people and companies depend on it. If the original project leaders abandon it, someone else will pick it up.

PHP is really bright, Just simple test in Google search by typing any technology and search then u will notice that search results for "php" is much more than that of any web technology.
