web store app

Hi,
sorry in advance if this is a stupid question, Im totally new to the forum and only just started to build my little website.
I am not too happy with the web store application that my website host provides. Is there a way to just buy a different application from somewhere and use it within my website ?
Just like you can get LIVE CHAT app for example..
