will changing host effect SE rank for domain name??
i have just purchased a domain name i am going to use for my next project,
rather than pay for hosting now and spend the next month or so setting it up while paying a host, i am going to use a free host, and maybe leave it there until my site becomes (hopefully) popular
i wondered, if i do use a free host, then at a later date move my site to a paid host and take my name with me, will my rankings in google and other SE be the same?
i know the ip will change, but have no idea if it will affect anything else
thanks

why should it? Except if your page doesn't get crawled/ranked over your TLD (e.g. you are doing some url-redirection instead of A-Name, etc. features)

Does the free host allows you to use your domain name, instead of something like yourname.freehost.com? If that's the case, you should be fine. But if you are on a subdomain of the host, it will make a difference in the SERPs.
