It really depends on what your webhost allows. You'll want to check with them to see if that kind of thing is allowable.

Many do allow this, including Pair (www.pair.com), the webhost I personally use.

Some hosting companies allow it such as Godaddy for their top two hosting levels. You can also get a reseller hosting account. The keep is to look for unlimited domains or a specific number that are allowed.

Best of luck.

Hi all,

Similar problem: this is what I am currently trying to do too.

I have DomainOne.com and DomainTwo.com with my hosting on DomainOne.com. DomainTwo.com is currently forwarded to DomainOne.com/DomainTwo

I read in thread 31569 that you, timjpriebe, have this (or similar) for your two websites in your signature, correct?

This is what is currently going on with my two sites, but there is more I want to do as I don't want 'framed forwarding' with DomainTwo.com as currently, if I go to DomainTwo.com/PageOne.php it forwards straight to DomainOne.com/DomainTwo and that is also displayed in the address bar.

What I want is to be able to click on DomainTwo.com/PageOne.php and it is forwarded to DomainOne.com/DomainTwo/PageOne.php but DomainTwo.com.PageOne.php is displayed in the address bar. Is this even possible?

Sorry about the thread-jack, but I think this is a similar problem though!

Thanks,
fakelvis

Fakelvis, that type of setup is usually no problem if your web server lets you have multiple domains on one hosting account. When it asks you to enter a path for the domain you're setting up, you just enter the appropriate path.

Say your site is at /usr/fakelvis/public_html/DomainOne.com

When you go to set up DomainTwo.com, just enter the path /usr/fakelvis/public_html/DomainOne.com/DomainTwo.com

Of course, this assumes your web host lets you specify exactly where in your directory structure the domain will point to.

And yes, I do have a the two domains in my signature under one hosting account. Plus about 25 or so other domains.
