Web Host Decisions?

I have been on the hosting search and think I have narrowed things
down, but thought I'd go for a few opinions before I make my final
decision. Has anyone had any experience, good or bad, with either
Hostway or WebAxxs? Traffic will be about medium, approx. 2500+ a day.
Thanks for any input.

I don't know if I'm correct or not, but I think Webaxxs is a reseller for OLM.net They used to have it on their order form to send a check to OLM.Net, not sure if they still do. Their site also has the same information as OLM.

Is OLM very popular? Why am I seeing resellers all over the Net?

I believe webaxxs are not resellers, but they are owned by OLM. OLM is a fairly large hosting company, and that is why it has many resellers.

Well, the final decision was Hostway. I kept periodically running Tracert and Ping on both domains. Hostway "SMOKED" WebAxxs every time. I was absolutely amazed how many hosts did NOT respond back to an e-mail with a simple question or two to check their response. And then again, those that took days, also. That was a big weed out! Thanks for your replies.

Rustyw2, I've had good experience with Hostway. In fact use them for most of my clients sites. They could use to add a few more POP's on some of the accounts, but overall, I like them a lot.

I'll probably move my site there soon. For now I'm using CommuniTech, which is great, but not cheap.
