uploading content to isp
Hi,
Can anyone help please.
I have just uploaded a website to the isp but my client is saying that the old index.html file is still coming up on their machines even though it has been overwritten.
I have instructed them to clear their cache but the problem is still occurring.
What can i do?
The site works on machines that have come to the site first time but the client can't see it so think that it doesn't work.
many thanks
Leigh

It is probably their isp caching the old version. This happens quite a lot and they'll either have to speak to their isp and ask them to refresh their system or more probably be told they'll have to wait!

ISP's cache is going to be reset so the user will be able to see the updated content soon. It actually takes about a few hours. (That is what i know)
