Yes, could be. We always advise people here to stay away from anything offering unlimited bandwidth. So maybe they realized that people know that something's up when they see that offered.

Now customers have knowledge that such offers are not realistic. These kind of offers are done only for marketing, to attract customers.

UNLIMITED Bandwidth does not exist and I wonder how people get away with advertising it.. but.. it's good that more and more people are aware about it now that it's just a scam.

yes it does exist. apon reaching a certain limit with a bandwidth meter on a server , we attatch bandwidth from parralel servers to compensate for this. the trick is to look at the terms of service. the unlimited bandwidth exists but some people are scammers about it and like to cut off your account for minor offenses of the TOS just when you are reaching high bandwidth. virtualwebtraffic.com doesnt do that. you will not have you account terminated or even suspended on minor offenses. you will be notified first and allowed plenty of time to respond.

not to worry. I know your peoples concern and I have already experienced a TON of bad hosting providers myself that offer this but scam you. This is common knowledge. If i had to give any advice, Yah i would say stay far the hell away from anyone offering this kind of service unless you know them REAL well and can provide you with plenty of good references to their service. Nevertheless, it does exist if you get lucky enough to find a decent one. but good luck with that. so there.

There's no such thing as unlimited bandwidth, some hosts may offer it, but eventually will have problems later on. I've been through a lot of hosts in the past, I remember Simplenet the most famous host to offer unlimited bandwith and storage way back 1999 or 2000, but look at them now? Just like I said, hosts may offer it but they will eventually change their system of operation or go out of business.
