Too good to be true?
Guys,
I'm considering about Hostrocket but they seems to be the cheapest Alabanza based host around. They offer a package of 20GB transfer at only $29.95 per month. I thought that Alabanza charges very high for bandwidth?
I wanted to know whether they can be trustable or not. I don't want to end up with them like other scam host.
Give me your comments please. Thank you.
Regards,
delz

Here's something to consider about HostRocket.Com.
They have questionable business practices. They go around promoting themselves by posing as different people, and then when they are put on the spot about it they give cheap excuses which change every few posts.
Now, if you want somebody who cannot be completely honest with you, then go ahead with HostRocket.Com.
However, I would reccomend to you ThinkHost.Com instead. They may not be Alabanza, but their servers are quite fast, they don't lie to you, and they provide support like I've never seen.
Their pricing is also very affordable.

I believe Alabanza charges $12 per GB of bandwidth, but don't quote me. I heard about when HostRocket was down for a while, but other then that they seem fine...

This exact same post was on another board, I'm not sure if you are the same person:
bandwidth is $10 per GB over your monthly allowance (either 50Gb or 100GB with the newest plans) at Alabanza. Hostrocket has been under the gun on different forums for either SPAM or falsifying posts (Chicken has more on this). For some more on them check:

They are obviously banking that you won't use that mucb bandwidth or they'd lost massive amounts of money.
