Skyport.net - Host investigor by day, webmaster by night :)
An observation I made was that they all offer the same package, and that smells like resellers to me..
Perhaps this was meant to be one of lifes big secrets

After looking up Super.nu, I found that their nameserver was skyport.net. So I started looking in to skyport, and found a few other hosting companies using skyport as nameserver. Here's a few:

http://primetimehost.com/
http://superiorhost.com/
http://superbhost.net/
Obviously these are all resellers for someone. Does anyone know who?

The IP address is registered to Skyport and reserve IP DNS mapping is performed by Skyport. However it looks as if they run their own DNS servers and mail servers (from mailexchange records). The most obvious answer is that skyport provides co-location or leased lines, and since super.nu is not a multi-national company or as big as verio it would be unreasonable for them to own their own address space. Basically My guess is that they have their servers colocated in the Skyport NOC or have connectivity provided by Skyport, I doubt they are resellers. I have also managed to speak to reseller of super.nu, who claims super.nu are top of the chain. Why they decide to use a .nu domain though is strange, it doesn't exactly make a good impression.
I could be wrong though

The address registered for SkyPort.net is in the middle of nowhere in a town I lived in for a few years .... not likely a NOC.

According to BestHost1 a Super.nu reseller with a "one day special" that's been running for months (along with all the other Super.nu resellers), Skyport is indeed a NOC/Co-Location company. Super.nu (or more precisely Fidelity Pacific owned by the same people as Super.nu) owns the servers there, and BestHost1 and other resellers sell it.
