I've tried them myself for a while and did a review of them a few months ago. At that time their tech support was very lacking, and they had some problems with uptime also. I am not sure things have improved since then, but JP just moved these forums from them because he had problems with them too. I recommend you look for another host... If you are looking for a good deal for $19.99/month or something like that, one company I know of that provides this is PCISD... they usually give this URL as a special offer on their banners. But anyway, it's accessible at pcisd.com/etipsspec.htm. In any event, I do know that PCISD.com, DIDS.com, and Burst.net are all good hosts. At infostardesign.com we resell our hosting through burst.net, and have been very pleased thus far. If you have any questions about any of this feel free to contact me.

Thanks for answering Brian!
What do you think of 1simple.com?
Setup is free but cost is expensive. ICOM is cheap, but I am not sure if they're good.

Nico,

My comment is on 1simple.com... Curtis, the owner is a great person. He knows what he is doing and he is devoted to his customers. Sure, the price is a little more steaper than some other hosts but I have never heard a single bad comment about him or his business. If you have the couple extra bucks to spend, I highly recommend you check them out. If you have questions, feel free to e-mail and I will see if I can help you find a host.

I left CT for 2 reasons.
1: Thet do not have tech support
2: I was worried they would throw me of their site as TWF grew in size.

I have since moved over to DIDS (Chad Simper) and have have been trully impressed by the effort and time spent on me for support related queries/problems.

Nico,

You tried contacting me by ICQ. Sorry I was not available. I usually stay connected even when I'm gone and that is why you didn't get a reply. I'm all ears now. The Bronze package is only $24.95 a month and that is a little higher than some people like Chad at dids.com. Thanks for your interest and I hope you find the perfect host. Smiling

Chad,

Thanks for the comments! I do try my best and I have received the impression that you do too.

Thanks all!

I'm with pair Networks, http://www.pair.com/, and satisfied. Things don't get done in a huge hurry there - support and upgrades take 2-3 days, though according to the users in the newsgroups it's only been like this recently as they're upgrading to a new system. However, the technical aspects of the service are great. The servers are powerful, fast, and certainly not overloaded; they post uptime and load figures on their support site, and whenever I log in my server's load is below 0.5. Their network connectivity is excellent, with 4 45Mbps connections to 3 backbones, something very few hosts have. Their prices, while not the best, are good for what they offer. The two accounts which are worth getting are the FTP one at $4.95 a month - ultra-cheap, but only FTP access - and the Webmaster at $28.95 a month, which has everything you'll need (possible exception is SSL, which is an addon).

Try American Web Hosting, with several plans that are cheaper than most of the hosting companys i checked. They have a very good technical support, either through e-mail, or icq!.
Go to their site, it think you'll go for it:

i just signed up a new account with dreamhost.com and am very satisfied with them so far.
don't sign up with interspeed.net, they have big problems during the last few weeks, sometimes you can't log in to your ftp, some e-mails don't arrive, the server was down several times... simplenet.net is not better either
