Ridiculous offers from Liberty Names of America
I have been receiving domain name renewal offers in the mail from this company, and their rates are ridiculous - $25 /yr! The worst part is that it appears that they are pulling my information from the WhoIs database (there's no other way they could have gotten my name and address). I called the company, and they said that in order to not receive any more offers, I was going to have to list off every domain I own (uh...no). I told him that he needs to search for them himself using my mailing address and remove them all because I wasn't going to take the time to query all my domains to opt out of something I didn't opt in to.
...so should I take this any further? Would it be worth reporting this company for illegal use of the WhoIs records?

Yeah, I think you have to inform this company about everything.

I haven't reported them or anything else yet. I haven't gotten any more offers, and I do have a couple more expiring.
I have finals this week & next week, so I will worry about this later if I end up doing anything.

I think you should definitely contact ICANN and report about it. Actually, you have to find out who they resell domain names from and if their upstream provider is ICCAN accredited.
Not unlike the waves...
