To reseller: do you resell tutorials along with hosting services?
Is it something new to resell flash titorials to your clients along with hosting packages or I've just never noticed that? valuhost.com even offers to include your logo in the tutorial

What are the pluses and minuses of this idea?

I don't see any minuses of this idea, vice versa I think it's very convenient to have tutorials on the web site the clients can see everything with their own eyes. Good for Valuhost.com!

Not new, but has not been common. It is becoming more popular. There is no downside unless the tutorials are behind in the product release and there are many changes. I had a tutorial from someone the other day that was one version behind. The changes were so different it rendered the tutorial useless in many critical areas. In this case it was useless to use it.
All and all it is very helpful. Would be nice if more companies offered tutorials for their products to be passed down through hosting companies to their customers. Would eliminate a lot of questions and free up support a bit.

So, tutorials are a freebie from valuhost.com to their resellers? See no minuses, apart the fact that flash takes a little loinger time to load.

I think all tutorials that are on the web sites of not only Valuhost.com but the other web hosting companies as well are free. Am I right?

No, tutorials are not free, you have to pay for them as well as you pay reseller hosting plans.

I think that is good idea from Valuhost.com, because there are many people which would like to start and don't know how everything going.

Tutorials are becoming extremely popular and many hosts are offering them for free to their customers so that the learning curve is easier for the customer. Another benefit to these companies is that they spend less time educating their customers through e-mails and other support options and can instead invest these resources into giving their customers faster and more stable websites and services.

The idea of reselling is quite interesting, but nearly all hosts provide tutorials to their clients, I think it's a must-have feature today.
a2hosting.com and ahosting.biz recommended here both have cpanel flash tutorials.
One of the possible minuses of flash is the download speed and necessity to have flash player .

I don't think it's a must-have feature. Some web hosting companies have them, the others don't. It doesn't have any matter.
Surely flash tuts help much to get to know more about running web hosting. By the way, A2hosting.com has well-done tuts.

I guess host's intention should be to design his site so that his visitor will find there all he needs to get info about hosting services, order them and provide knowledgebase along with tutorials to minimize the pressure on the support stuff. So, I would consider a must-have feature today.

Tutorials are very useful for begines and in any case you always can get help from live chat or similar. I was quite unfamilar of web hosting and webhostingbuzz.com company, which is my web hosting provider help me with all things and they didn't hold back any their tasty things like free domain for life with package.
That is really good point of them.
