question about domain name reg
Hi All!
I have a question about domain name reg.
I want to register a domain name bbb.com after some time I decide to
make that site city specific for LA.
My question is do I need to register and pay for bbb.la.com again or does that come under subdomain and will it be free?
Thanks
Pilla

I assume that you are using bbb.com as an example because you won't be able to get it. The sub-domain goes first like la.bbb.com or for New York ny.bbb.com.

Thanks Mark!
Yes,u were right, I was using bbb as an example.
So when I register a domain name should I check whether they
support subdomain names?
If they support subdomain names do they charge again for the
subdomain reg.
Thanks again

Most hosts will support domain names. Just check the different plans and the number of sub-domains that you can have. The host that I use has plans ranging from 1 sub-domain to 60. You don't have to register a sub-domain like you do a domain.

It would have been faster if I knew how to type.
