NoMonthlyFees.com
Hi everyone,
I just found this web site and registered and this section of the message board grabbed my attention. For almost a year I was using http://www.crosswinds.net as my web site server, as I had a large site and Crosswinds allows unlimited web space. I finally moved to a new server with my own domain name at http://www.NoMonthlyFees.com , and have never looked back. For I think $235 you get 200MB of web space, your own domain name, and much much more. (And yes that is paid lifetime web hosting!) This is beginning to sound like an advertisement, but I am so satisified with the customer service and quality of service I have received with http://www.NoMonthlyFees.com I thought I would share it with you.
Cheers!
Lyle

To be honest, I am relatively new to web design and haven't used many other web hosting companies before, apart from the free ones (including Crosswinds, Tripod, Geocities and Angelfire). I chose NoMonthlyFees over Simplenet (http://www.simplenet.com/) primarily because of the competative price and I have had no problems with them since.
In response to fairhousing's post, I have only heard good about NoMonthlyFees, but like all web hosts I am sure it has its downsides (I am yet to experience any, however). And yes, I am new to this message board - I signed up today - and look forward to participating in discussions with you all.
Cheers,
Lyle,

I'm not familiar with that company per se, but I have heared mixed reviews about one-time-pay hosts. Here today, gone tomorrow.
