Need Help in Buying a domain
I am looking to buy a domain name. I found numerous sites which sell domain names. Should I be picking a particular sellar such as Register.com or networksolutions.com registersite.com....Does it matter who I buy the domain from? If so, any suggestions on whom I should buy the domain from. Thanx

Forget Network Solutions, Yahoo, or others. I would recommend Go Daddy or Dotster/ Much cheaper and much better service. Look in the Web Hosting forum for more info.

000domains.com comes highly recommended from me. NSI and Register.com are overpriced, so stay away from them.

I haven't heard of them. They do appear to be a bit on the pricey side, $20/yr for basic and $35/yr for deluxe. GoDaddy is only $8.95/yr and Dotster is only $14.95/yr with even better deals for resellers.

joker.com is in germany, but is that a reason to stay away from them ? after all isn't network solutions in America ? Does that mean I should stay away from USA registrars ?
joker has a really easy control panel to use to change nameserver settings etc etc and it works very well, I have only needed to e-mail their support 1 time (registered over 30 domains with them) and I had a solution within 5 hours
