multiple ftps / multiple domains
Two questions:
1. What hosts have packages with multiple ftp accounts (10+)?
2. I am looking for a new host for several domains -
What hosts have support for multiple domains / have plans that would work well with multiple domains?
So far, I've looked into (or have experience with):
communitech.net
pcisd.com
dids.com
I've also heard of
webhosting-network.com
None of my sites are high-traffic, nor do they take up a lot of space. Technical support is probably not a huge issue either, either, since I only have a few simple perl scripts.
However, I do wish to have ssi (important) and possibly subdomains as a standard feature.
My budget is about $40/month.
Thanks.

I'm looking for a few people to share my dedicated server with. It might be something you are interested in, or not. I am not a host and maybe you are looking for something along those lines.
Anyway if interested email me at sc/@/spacechicken.com (remove the "//").

With all due respect Technics, do you not believe that giving a few specific reasons would be beneficial to rutf35 and other users, rather than your non-descriptive "Dont Even Consider"?
Personally, I use that company for a couple domains, and I am aware of some of the negative threads, but so far, I have chosen to stay with them because overall the positives have outweighed the negatives. Just wondering, maybe you could elaborate? Perhaps you have some specific tehnical faults you could share about this host? Or is it just more of the same "negative vibe" sort of thing? Thanks.

You want proof that many people don't like ThinkHost? Here you go:

Greg, I simply said in a polite way that stating "Dont Even Consider thinkhost . Waist of time." does nothing for anybody. Should someone that reads that simply think "hey, that guy MUST know what he's talking about, I WON'T consider that host, dang nabbit!"
As a general rule, I tend to think the absolute oppposite of what the poster intended, when their argument lacks any sort of detail at all. It comes off as being petty or vengeful. If someone really wants to cut someone a solid and actually be helpful, even if they didn't have the time, a simple closing statement statement such as "post here or e-mail me for specifics" would have done wonders to further their credibility.
Not busting Technics' chops here, I just didn't want this to turn into a brainless "Yeah they suck" thread which does nothing for rutf35 or any other user of these forums.
That being said, I will read your referenced threads (I am already aware of what's going on at Sitepoint) so I can further my knowledge of what's pissing people off.

What the web-master forums thread "proves" (and I use that term loosely) is that they closed a free account and the free account holder was angry about it.
The Sitepoint thread "proves" the same thing AND that an employee of theirs behaved in an unprofessional way inside their own forums.
The WebHostingTalk thread "proves" nothing. It refers to the other two threads already mentioned and embarks on a tedious name-calling binge.
Don't get me wrong, I was dis-heartened as soon as I read of some of their alleged actions, but none of what is mentioned here answers rutf35's questions nor has ANY impact on customers that are getting exactly what they are paying for with that host.
