Have you ever used our services? NO! Can you vouche for our services? NO! You are currently with PCISD and you are very happy with them. I understand this. I believe your post was deleted because it is considered slandering. Further, it was not accurate because you have never used our services. I did not delete the post. The owner felt it was inappropriate.

This post will not be deleted... I will make sure it isn't. You are free to express your opinions and I am free to defend myself.

For those of you who have missed out on this situation, I will elaborate for you shortly (I do not want another forum to go off topic so please don't post in regards to the previous situation).

A couple of days, I made a post regarding PCISD's non-Web based control panel. The forum got out of hand and off of topic very quickly so it was the decision of the forum owner and the board moderator to delete the unrelated posts. Since then, I have been in contact with Mr. Shadden and I am currently trying to resolve the situation with PCISD. The problem occured because I stated that my systems administrator could roll-out a similar program in about a month. This statement was not meant to offend or insult anyone but several PCISD customers took it that way. I do not know the scale of the project nor what is involved in creating the control panel that PCISD is currently creating. I would like to clear this situation up and I extend my deepest apologies to Mr. Shadden, Mike (PCISD), Derrick (PCISD), and any one else that felt offended or insulted by my statement. It was not meant to be taken that way but it was. I would like to see the TWF return to its normal use so I would like to get this situation cleared up as soon as possible.

I do not want this thread to grow out of control like the last one so we will end it here. If you have comments, please e-mail me.

Mr Simper,
Chad could have easily used your services under his wife's name, his step-brother's or even his office/friend. Therefore you cannot say that he hasn't used your services unless you have never had any customers. You also seem very hippocratic in regards to downplaying WinWeb and then apologizing.

I am Chad ... Mr. Shadden has never used our services nor has anyone he knows. I know each of my customers personally and they are all very pleased with our services currently. We are a small hosting firm which allows us to know our clients. Like I said, I was not trying to "downplay" WinWeb. It was taken in the wrong manner by several people. This is why I have apologized (apologies are usually the most professional manner of handling a mistake).

I couldn't read the entire thread because it was cleaned (which I think was the best decision) and these "fight" posts aren't there anymore. However, I CAN tell you that Chad is an excellent businessman as well as a great person, and I am totally sure that he didn't mean to offend PCISD nor downgrade their WinWeb. I also know that he treats his customers really well, I'm not a customer of DIS but he still helped me to solve some problems I had trying to transfer my domain, and he also was always there to listen to my asks for suggestions.

TWF is meant to be a place where webmasters can share their knowledge and personal experiences, and I wish it would stay as such.

JP, you'll have to be a bit more "rude" when keeping the forums free of fights and people that starts fights, if you don't want TWF to become like FreeWebspace.net's message boards, where half of the threads on the Paid Hosting board end up being a fight between host companies and satisfied/unsatisfied customers of them.

Sorry but I had to voice my opinion in this matter.

I deleted your post yesterday as I considered it slanderous. I did so at 2am GMT and decided to wait until the morning to write to you and explain my actions.
I am sorry about the confusion.

The main purpose to this post is to end this negative spirit that has suddenly swept this particular topic and clear up any misunderstandings that may still exist.

- Firstly, though I do not often have to, I can (see TOS) delete or edit any post I see as slanderous/ off topic or useless - without prior notification.
This has been the case with the posts concerning Mr Simper and Mr Bradshaw and some PCISD clients.

- Further to this, some of you are under the impression that Mr Simper 'twisted my arm' to get some posts deleted. This was NOT the case. I did indeed speak to Chad about the matter (he is a good friend of mine and moderator of some topics at TWF, so that is hardly surprising). However the final decision was mine and will remain mine.

- I would like to end this particular misunderstanding swiftly and amicably. Any personal issues should remain so and not be aired on a public forum where they have no place and are likely to be deleted.

- Finally , all further advertising or blatant plugs for any hosting companies will continue to be deleted for the good of the forum community. Please respect other TWF users by only using your signature file to promote your services/business.

I feel sorry to see the fourms become more flaming and get finger crossed. And the the reason I don't spend my waste time being here to read the unwatned message that you don't need to read it either. I like to help people not flame against other company that they work hard for. Very sad! If I see these gets worse, I will not visit here again until this people become a adult and do the right way not wrong. Sorry but I am doing the right way. I focus on my own things for my company not here but I am here to help that is all I can offer ... Have a nice weekend !
