It normally takes a while for the DNS info to kick in. It could take up to 24 hours or more. You should still be able to FTP into your host using the IP address to upload your site and visit the IP address to see if the site appears.

The domain will have to be setup on the server. If you have a control panel with your host, you may be able to make sure the domain is setup by logging in. Otherwise, you may need to contact your host.
You may be able to upload your site through your control panel. Otherwise, you will need to use ftp. ws_ftp is a free ftp program available at ipswitch.com. A good paid ftp is cuteftppro. There are lots of ftp clients out there, so look around.

That is an A record to your DNS. Just contact your ISP and have them add it to your DNS "A" records. It will take 24 - 48 hours to resolve but your FTP and all stays exactly as it is. Most ISPs do that automatically these days??? If you have console capabilities you may be able to add this your self.
Good luck

1. You need to make sure your host has your account/domain set up on the server
2.Yes you need to upload your site VIA FTP to your server.
2.When the nameservers change your domain will point to your new site.
PM me and I will walk you through it
