I need some suggestions for a BLOG STYLE Easy to manage HOSTING (will have mostly text and couple of small images per post):

Here are the specs:
Correct me if 2-4 gb space is reasonable (I expect to get up to 150 visitors a day will generate 400kb x 150visitors x 30 days= 1.72gb

50 mb space
2-4 gb monthly traffic

Minimum 3 year good track record history
Reliable
and max 1 hour response time with the solution of the issue, should I need to contact them

Anyone has got first hand good experience with a web hosting company as well as any other suggestions?

Thank you for sharing your experiences

Lowest budget is also another key for my needs

All the best

.... I don’t know of a single person who wants or has a blog that knows the expected bandwidth... kind of suspicious.
What kind of blog gets 150 visitors a day and worries about price?

Please do not respond just for the sake of it.

I don't have time or intention to argue with useless comments.

Well forums arnt exactly the fastest response you can get. Go to a chat room there are tons of people tring to sell hosting in yahoo's chat rooms.
Personally I only use quality hosting. Not cheep crap.

That's what he wants to know about! Sure, its easy to go anywhere and find sales ads but not to get a good recommendation from someone who has some experience.

Sorry I can't be of more help here, antoine. Hopefully someone will come along with some good advice. I get free hosting from some work I did a few years ago but I think the company's paid plans are a little pricey.

Thank you Megan. Appreciate your thoughts and good wishes.

I'm sure someone will come and put me into right direction.

Cheers

By the way, do you use wordpress or something and how easy to post text with photos.
I really liked the set up and the simplicity of your blog.

I also would like to set up mine, similar to yours.

Beautiful pix too.

All the best

Well I don't run a blog but a while ago received a good recommendation for names.co.uk and have had my site hosted there for over a year now without a single hitch.

If you don't mind the server being in London then they're pricing is pretty competitive. Smiling

Like I said... I don’t use cheep hosting... I pay a arm and a leg every month to have my sites and blog up. I wrote my own blog script... I'm upgrading it from JScript to C# and 2 other people are waiting for me to finish the new version so I can set up a blog site for them.

If your still interested in my hosting here is my referral link...

try livingdot.com - they're pretty new, but seem very good. There support is exception (though that might be because they don't have too many customers) livingdot.com

I've just transfered to them, and they have movable type pre installed, takees the hassle out of things. I only just moved over to them, but so far I have had a great experience.
