I have a site thru GoDaddy - Anything bad about that?
I'm curious to know if there is a downside to having a template site thru GoDaddy.com.
I know it's not the most beautiful site at all, but I only need something pretty basic.
Has anyone heard of a problem with using them?

Well, GoDaddy is a good company overall. They do some things great and other things they could do better. I use them and have made simple suggestions for improvement, but I think they are too busy to implement them. Growth is a problem for them. Overall, they are good though.
I have not used their templates, but I only see a TITLE in your site and no META DESCRIPTION or META KEYWORDS. Search engines will not see a DESCRIPTION on your site, so you may want to contact them to make sure that that is in there. Right now, search engines will pick up your TITLE and some content, but to leave out Meta Tags will cost you.
Also, when you go to your site it says "The page contains secure and insecure images - Do you want to Display unsecured images?"...your images may have to be in a secure folder. Sometimes that scares people away.
Good luck!

Thanks for the reply.
When I am posting a template, I have a title, a short description (where I can use HTML) and then the long description.
Would the HTML short description be where I should have the Meta items?

Ahh, I checked into it, and through the shopping cart type site I had, I could not alter the META tags at all. I had to make another site, ThePartsYouNeed.net, which I can use as somewhat of a "homepage" to link to the other site.
Now, is there a limit to how many Meta keywords you can use? I mean...do the spiders only crawl a few and quit, or is there an actual number which you are limited to?
I have plenty of keywords which are quite relevant to my items, but I don't want to waste my time if they will be unusable.

Don't worry too much at all about the meta tags, put in your meta keywords (around 15) and a sensible meta description, but most SEs ignore these completely and the other meta tags you can put in are useless. You really have not got a site that SEs are going to like as the domain forwards to your shop string, rather than something static like index.html

Hmm.
Well I am new at this so I appreciate the help. What could I do to make this work better for me? I can't do anything with meta on the shopping cart (thepartsyouneed.com) but I can add some to the (thepartsyouneed.net) page. Is there a better way to link the 2?

They are not bad, cheap, but their control panel is a bit hard for using. But if you are start business, they are good for begining!
