Hmmm- since when did they make servers with unlimited space hard drives? And since when did people like QWest allow unlimited bandwidth? The answer is never, so how can they provide it? Easy, just read their Policy: www.cwihosting.com/policy.htm

But still that doesn't help much. This is what it says:

quote:Resource Usage: No system in the world has unlimited resources, and we expect you to act responsibly when consuming resources on our system. If you consume unnecessary and excessive resources on our system we may suspend your access at any time without prior notice to correct the situation.

So I would e-mail them and ask how much is too much?

Other than that they look good. They have their dedicated server with www.rackspace.com/

Stay away from CWI. I've been with them for three months and have had problems from the beginning...

To begin with it took more than 8 days for my account to be completely set up and accessible.

Last month I asked for them to assign one of my two sub-domains. I immediately got a message saying that in 24 hours they would send me another message indicating the password, etc. Never received that message and the subdomain isn't available either.

Just this past Monday I sent them a message outlining 6 issues (3 on my site that they host and 3 on a friends site that they also host that I'm working on). I have yet to hear ANYTHING from them. On Thursday I sent a message to their CEO. I haven't heard anything from him either other than his autoresponder message.

Their site says that they are people oriented and responde to messages quickly. They claim that with them you don't have to wait days to get a response. Ha! I wish!

I have no personal experience with them. However I’ve heard rumors other places that they have slow and unresponsive tech support.

I still highly suggest CommuniTech. If you signup with them for a year contract you’re actually paying less then CWI. CommuniTech is $306 a year CWI is $323. The only benefit I see at CWI is unlimited space, however in all reality it’s limited, CommuniTech gives you 350MB. CommuniTech also provides the world famous PCP which is the best around, and I’m sure anyone who’s ever used it can vouch for that.

WARNING!

I highly suggest you DO NOT try this company. I tried hosting my sites on their servers and there were problems since the beginning. I have tried many web hosts and this one is the worst of the worst. Email me at [email protected] if any questions.
