hostonce.com too good to be true?
This hosting company claims that for $5 a month it will give you a domain name and host your website with unlimited webspace, bandwidth, and e-mail accounts... I haven't found anything wrong with it yet. Has anyone used it before and if you have, what's the catch?

Nothing wrong with it except as far as I know, as far as our technology has come today we still do not have UNLIMITED harddrives nor do we have UNLIMITED Internet connections.
Here is an interesting line from their Terms of Service...
This basically gives them the right to terminate any account anytime they feel like it and you will not get a refund. So, since they charge $5/mo they charge all customer annually and if they decide your site is using too much resources, you could get kicked out after only a month or so and you will not get a refund.
Don't you think it's better if the web host tells you upfront how space/bandwidth you have purchased?
Additionally, their website is extremely slow and I'm on a 2.5Mbit ADSL connection.

Good luck.

For the love of all things good, run away from HostOnce
Uptime when I was there: < 50%
Uptime for ASP scripts: < 40%

Terrible support

I hosted with them and now I'm with PipeTen -- recommended here before it was pulled... good thing I logged on quickly before the post was so cruelly censored.
