Hosting and ISP
I am after a hosting package in the UK pref where can allow us to do website streaming...i know it does take many bandwith hence want sa good package but not to pricey as the only time we going to do streaming is once a year and going to be for 1 week only
Also require a ISP that gives us opportunity to do alow us to use all that bandwith.
Ideas would be great from you guys
Many thanks

Do you know the difference between an ISP and a host? Because from what you just said, you don't.
Host = someone who stores all of your websites' files, and serves them to the internet/public
ISP = how you connect to the internet
So... are you running a server from inside your home or something? Or are you looking to rent space from somewhere?

Sorry i do knwo what server is but just didnt make my point clear
Basicaly at first we are looking for a good cheap host which can help us do live streaming. IF we dont find a good hosting company then we are going to build our own servers and then just need ISP.But some ISP throttle the bandwith so need a decent isp with good upstream...talking of upstream what is the minimum upstream for streaming?
so yeh i have 2 otopns
1) Build server and find ISP
2) or find host and ISP
WE are a temple so we do want cheapest option as possible. WE dont have much income so cant be spending huge money...
hope i make my self clear now...

If you use an online host, i.e. use someone elses server to host your website, your ISP wont matter
Your isp gives YOU access to the internet
And that wont affect what the hosting company does
so your options are
1) build a server and find an ISP that will give you extreme internet access with a high cost and give you headaches running your own server and bandwidth allocations
2) find a host and put your website on it
let them worry about making sure the server is 100% working and they give you the bandwidth allowance they promised you when you signed up
All you worry about is the site is working
Then, with option 2, the ISP you use is only required to view the website though http (browser) or add/remove files to your website (FTP)
So any old ISp will do, preferably broadband of course, but even dial up will be enough to upload files (although painfully slow)

The best options before you are the following.
1. First find a host to host your site.
2. Thro' the host build your site.
3. Look for the host which gives more bandwidth for less as you would require bandwidth for live streaming.
I highly recommend web hosting service provided by www.marblehost.com

You'll need a dedicated server from a reputable UK-based provider. Here's a thread from v7n about UK-based companies
