Is this a forum on a site you already run? If so, what's the site about? If not, you should come up first with what subject matter you want your forum to be about.

And what's your target audience? That's a key point as well. Think of something fun that they would relate to.

Based on the topics you mentioned it sounds like you might be targetting more of an edgy audience (for lack of a better word). You could borrow some terms from those cultures - like rap culture probably has some unique sayings or words that you could borrow.
Is this what you're now calling "the spot forums"? I notice you have pictures of rappers in the header. If this is what you're basing it on then your audience is not everyone and it's not about anything. Your audience is people interested in rap music: probably young, multicultural, more male than female. A lame title will not work, so borrowing something from the culture might work. And ask your members! They might have some good ideas.

For anything, huh? You should just make up some completely random forum name. Like Stunned Jellyfish Forums. Or Writing on the Walls Forums. Or the Ugly Little Tree Forums.
Yep, those are definitely random.

I would keep search engine optimization in mind when naming your forum. I would visit http://www.searchbliss.com/seo-tools/keyword-suggestion.asp and get keyword suggestions for "forum". Then I would try to incoperate what your forum is about using the results that fit your forum the most (and that have a high search count).
