gov.uk with dns control - very frustrating
Hi,
I've been asked to code, design and run the website for our local town council. Unfortunately the money pot is rather tiny, so I'm having difficulty getting everything online. I've found a hosting provider (£19 p/a) and need help finding a domain registrar that will allow me to register a gov.uk address for an initial charge of approx 130 inc. VAT, with an ongoing charge of about 80 (both per two years) - as I have an external hosting provider I will need to point the dns records to the hosting provider. Can anyone make a recommendation? I would be extremely grateful.
Cheers,
Av
