Going with pair networks for web hosting - sound good? anybody gonna talk me out of it?
OK, after a bunch of searching on behalf of my dad's small business website, I think I'm going to go with www.pair.com Pair Network's basic web hosting account. Here's what I get:
setup fee: $10
monthly fee: $8.95
www.mydomain.com setup fee: $25 and $1/month
disk allowance: 30mb
traffic allowance: 100mb/day, 3000mb/month
email: one pop3 with catch-all or advanced forwarding
unlimited FTP and TELNET updates/access
OK now this seems pretty good, nice price, has the features I want, they also happen to be an InterNIC gold partner or whatever it's called.... Here's what I want to know: is there anybody out there that has anything negative about Pair Networks? any horror stories? reasons why I should NOT go with them?
thanks again guys!

I'm sorry. I'm 18 and that is just a habit, I guess a good one.
Thanks
Curtis

I mentioned them in your last thread... like I said, I'm very happy with them (their average server uptime is 120 days) but as for negatives: their support, and account registration is SLOW. Between 2 and 4 business days wait, in general.

Dan,
...and believe me support is very important for your first site as you are bound to run into trouble.
