Fxdomains.com
I've spent several thousand pounds (UK Sterling) with FXDomains - as it's where I've purchased most of my domain names.
Funny thing is, I've no experience of their website hosting services.
Is anyone out there using FX Domains to Host a Site, and would you recommend them for this purpose?

It's better not to use the same company for buying and hosting your domains. Choose the other one. What is your budget? What are your requirements?

Thanks for your comment.
I was curious about Fxdomains.com (given the amount of cash I've put their way).
I've spent hours looking at web hosts and have narrowed it down to Hostgator, plus a couple of others (including 1shopwebsites.com because they have a relationship / association with the emarketing service called 1shopingcart.com that I need to link-in to the finished site).
I'm going to cheat and try out the Online Website Builder Platform (OWBP) offered by whichever host I go with, as the number of 'whistles and bells' some of these OWBPs now come with, would otherwise take ages to develop solo.
As I mentioned in another forum / thread on this Site, I gather that some webmasters are now occasionally using these OWBPs to knock out quick, cheap sites for 'technically and financially challenged' clients, who want to take over the reigns once the site is built.
Interestingly, the Ishopwebsites.com Site bears a suspicious resemblance to another Site I looked at (possibly Godaddy?) so I'm guessing they both are part of a single on-line Network of near identical Sites. Must make myself a note to discover which business actually provides the Platform and Hosting that these guys (and - no doubt - others like them) use.
I've never used one of these OWBPs before, so it will be an interesting experience. The important consideration for me is finding a hosting service that has a good, feature packed and flexible OWBP, but also offers excellent Hosting and Support. (The 'Support' is also critical for anyone using an OWBP to knock out a Site for someone else - as the 'budget concious client' can then plague the Host's Support Service with any queries once the Site has been up and running for a couple of months - i.e. after any initial 'build issues' have been ironed out for the client by the site developer ).

The amount of money you've mentioned is significant, they must be a reputable domain registrar, couldn't find any serious feedback on them, maybe have a look at this . I might be wrong but they seem to provide free hosting if you buy domains fri\om them. Provided you have so many domains you are sure to get free hosting services, the only question is whether their services are reliable.

You will have to evaluate their domain service and maybe try hosting a site or two with them and see how it goes. You cannot know for sure until you give them a try.

Do they have any trial period?

FXDomains is one of the larger WWD resellers which use the Godaddy hosting servers. Uptime seems fine:

For shared hosting accounts you can sign up for a min 2 month period after which you can cancel whenever you want - so not really a trial but it won't cost you much to try it.
I have one site running on their cheapest hosting account and another few sites on a VPS serve - quite pleased with both and I haven't had any downtime yet. For the money - the VPS solution is very compleet and has been very reliable so far (and you could run up to 100 domains on one server so maybe a solution for you).
Hope that helps,
Mike.

Overall this company looks good but what kind of support does it provide?
