Free ASP

Hi all.
Ok, I know this is going to sound cheap of me, but is there any free hosting services (I currently use virtualve.net...) that allow me to use a backend?? Virtualave has told me they'll be gaining ASP soon, but that was at the beginning of the year. If no one knows of a free site per se, the cheaper the better!

Thanks,

There are actually a few free ASP hosts. Most of them are fairly limited, however they are great for generally learning the language. Some even include database access.

www.ewebcity.com - no advertisements, 30MB storage, and Access DB.

www.webhostme.com - your own domain, FTP access, 20MB storage, and FrontPage extensions.

www.domaindlx.com - 15MB storage, Access DB, SSI, and email.

Of course if your at all serious about your site I’d highly suggest getting a $10 - $15 a month web host. It will truly unleash your development abilities.

Check out www.freewebspace.net for a searchable directory of free hosts...

Wow Adam, I must say that ewebcity has some extremely attractive prices, and in some cases, no prices at all. They actually have a really cheap option to host your own domain name (much cheaper than I expected, especially with the SQL DB they give you). Anyway, thanks a lot for the info. I think I'll be moving over to that website pretty soon One more question though, is there any particular reason why they have such cheap prices? I serisouly haven't seen prices that low...I don't think I even saw a mention of the domain registration cost.
