domain redirection - who would you use?

I have plenty of web space with my ISP. I have a registered domain name already paid for.

I'm looking for a service that will allow www.my_domain.com to be redirected to www.my_isp.com/myfreespace/blah/blah and which will permit URL cloaking.

'path following' would be nice so that I could also re-direct www.my_domain.com/special_offer/ to the same /special_offer sub-dir in my free web space.

At least one e-mail forward (to [email protected] - not a net-based address), as well as a catch-all anyname@my_other_isp.com

Looked at www.easydns.com and www.domaindirect.com and www.redirection.net

Prices vary, presumably service varies as well.

Anybody got any good suggestions

Are you speaking of Domain A www.domain.com points to Domain B www.domain.com/thisone/ without paying Domain fee?

No, I've paid the registration for www.my_domain.com -- whether I used a service that allowed both www.my_domain.com and www.my_domain.com/thisone/ would depend on what the added cost would be for extra re-directions.

If I was you I would consider speed first because people don't want to be waiting for more the 5-10sec for you page to start loading and the fast service there is domain direct. Also Domain Direct has good prices and looks respectable. But before you decide think carefully and a few extra bucks may make the difference between the person gettign to you page in 2 sec to the person not even getting to your site.

I've been using www.myinternet.com to handle this sort of thing for over a year now.
Works well - no delays, and it is free.

You can set up all sorts of options: number of options, stealth cloaking, email redirection, etc.

I've got 2 domains registered there, both pointing to the same place at present.
This service really lets you take control of your domain name. You're no longer at the mercy of the admin person at your ISP or Internic to make changes to where your domain name points. Do it yourself - instantly.

Regards,
Eric.
