Does it make sense to do some domain parking?
I have some good domain names that are available and I am not planning to use them for anything (for the most part, maybe 1 out of 6). I was reading that it is not a very good idea, but other people say they made some substantial amounts of money.
I am not talking about some random names, but names that look like that should have been taken and worth quite a lot. Would you just register and go to sedo.com (or maybe somewhere else, where?)
Thank you.

Naturally you should park your domain names if it is not in use. If your domains catch some real and pure amount of traffic constantly, it is useful to make some cash from parking.

It's not good in my opinion. The real domain parking service depends on natural traffic and get incomes. But if this is discovered, it maybe canceled.

It makes sense if the domain receives a constant source of traffic. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

If you don't have any content for the domain, just park it. It's worth it if you have many domains.

If you parked any domain which terms have good search or keyword in trends then you can get many visitors on your domain and you will get few earning from there. Mainly you buy domain at 9.99$ but if anybody want same domain you can sale your parked domain at good price.
if you can any about any keyword or technology or products which are comes in future and any other domain available you can parked that domain.
Cheers

If you parked the domain name, you can only manage it.. that is you can renew, transfer etc. However, you can build a online site with it. You cannot upload files and make it online.. If you need a online site, then you need to host it not just parking.
