Hello,

I am mainly seeking the opinions of current and/or past users of digitalspace.net. This site offers reasonably priced web hosting packages, beginning at $2/month.

If I look at their system status logs, I see that two of their four servers were down for several days. This does not give me much comfort, but I'm glad to see that they are not afraid to hide the facts. Are they worth a try?

I highly recommend not doing this.

Lets look at it this way. How can you make any money for $2 for 5MB? To use a credit card, it will cost him about 2.75% credit card fee, about 40 cents for the transaction and what other fees he is charged by his merchant provider.

He is making about $1.50 per month. Now, tell me who wants to work for $1.50 a month and you have to set the server up, support the customer, pay all the bills. Would you like to waste your time for $1.50???

Hi Curtis,

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. Being away from web development work for several years, I just don't know which web hosts to use. From past experiences, I had found that even the large IPPs provided terrible services. Anyway, I shall accept your expertise advice and stay away from digitalspace.net. Thanks again.
