Ahh, Dialtone.. they seem like a reasonable deal.
Something similar to http://rackspace.com, http://raqspace.com.
Anyone hear any good things about them?

Hi,
I need a co-located or dedicated server.
(I haven't found any other possibilty to do what I want/need.)
While looking at various services I stumbled over this one.
http://www.dialtoneinternet.com/
Any experiences ?
Any better offers ?
(200$/mon with 50GB and unlimted IPs sounds good to me.
And the speed is acceptable.)
ciao

The company I work for is going with rackspace.com. So far, the 'upfront' support has been excellent... almost immediate response to email inquiries, very detailed answers to all of our questions. I hope this excellent support continues after implementation.

A friend of mine went with the Cobalt Raq2... actually multiple. He is VERY pleased with Rackspace. They provide continuous ongoing support for him, and I have noticed the same for me when I email them. I have never waited over 12 hours for a response. Usually within the hour, but one day (weekend) I waited about 6 or 8 hours. But that is still acceptable for a new customers questions. (I am sure tech support is faster).
Although Dialtone seems a little bit cheaper. You know what they say "You get what you pay for". So I would like to know who does business with Dialtone, and how pleased they are, so I can make my final decision...
Anyone wanna talk me into one over the other? Please do!
Michele
(thanks for the input JD)
