How are Canadian servers looked at with regard to cost? I'm a Canadian host and was curious if many people are making the move up north where costs are real low.

I'm from the other side of the world, but when i'm looking for hosting I have to weigh in the exchange rate, ours (NZ)to Canadian is better than US or UK but can still be just as expensive.

I did look around at one point for a good Canadian host but I just couldn't find anything! Their prices were often the same or even higher when compated to US hosts (yes, even when the exchange rate was applied), and I had a hard time finding one that seemed to have the features and reliability I was looking for. Any reccomendations?

I'd be thick not to recommend myself (sundog web design dot com) for inexpensive and reliable small time hosting. I know of several other good hosting companies in Toronto and Vancouver. Their rates are quite competitive. Check out what those cities have to offer or email me and we'll talk.
