Buyers Beware Notice!
Hello all,
I figured I will post this to try and reach as many people as I can. Do NOT get hosting from a hosting company called cap-hosting.com. They offer what seems to be a GREAT deal ($10.00 a year and unlimited everything) but you are soon ripped off. I have been through resolutions with PayPal and am also going to see what I can do with the BBB.
Just a friendly notice!
Mark

Out of curiousity, how are you 'ripped off' - It does seem too good to be true!

Offers with unlimited everything do tend to be too good to be true. There's no way a hosting company can actually provide that type of service. Best to stay away from any company that is offering "unlimited" bandwidth and/or server space.

Sorry, I could have clarified a bit. I met the owner of Cap-hosting in an mIRC channel (chat program). He was advertising his hosting. I ended up speaking with him and we worked out a deal. The person was mature, they had a website and said he had alot of clients. I figured I would give it a shot for so cheap.
After a few days, the hosting was down so I went in their support channel on mIRC. There I saw others complaining and the owner kicking abd banning people out of the support channel. The people were not swearing or being disrespectful but they were slightly irritated and wanted answers as we all would in the same situation.
The owner then bragged about messing with their accounts and that he wasn't worried about them doing anything because he said "Nobody is going to do anything over 10 bucks".
A few more days go by and the hosting is down 3 more times. Obviously unacceptable for anyone trying to run a business via a website that was on this hosting. I went into the IRC support channel and asked why the hosting had been down 3 times in 2 weeks. I then politely asked for a refund of my $20.00 as the hosting company was not living up to their end of our deal we had made. I was then kicked and banned just like the others and my accounts password has been changed rendering the hosting I purchased useless.
After sending multiple emails and threats to take action I finally received an email from Cap Hosting stating:
"Not even YOU are stupid enough to do anything about $20.00"
At that point, it became more personal. The hosting I purchased is still unusable. I sent in a complaint to PayPal and did not get refunded as they said it is a Virtual Item and they don't deal with those types of items. So now this underage (yes I found out he is under the age of 18) is ripping people off and nobody is stopping him. $20.00 or not, it's people like him that ruin the internet and I will see what steps I can take for further action.
Feel free to post any ideas or suggestions also! I'm sure there are lots of things out there I don't know about.
Thanks,
Mark

Have you got his IP address?
You could try contacting the IP for banning him.
Also if not , ask for his home address, report him...
If all else fails, get his IP address and will hack our way to destroying his site...

Well the thing is, that is his cell phone number. I spoke with PayPal about him being underage and they said that if the PayPal account holder was underage they could do something about it but they could not do anything to get proof of age. He is using an account that belongs to (more then likely an older family member).
I have called his cell phone number multiple times and am hung up on immediately.
Thanks for your input CptAwesome!
