Burst.net Redux - So what are people's opinions on the company?
Hi there,
I was wondering if there are more opinions on Burst.net circulating around here? I know I had seen Matt's and Brian's opinions on HostInvestigator.com, so they wern't much of a surprise. However, I find it hard to believe no one else has an opinion. Comments would be appreciated...

Hey Matt,
I just have noticed besides you and Brian, everyone seems to be indifferent about BurstNET. I've posted on several different forums with similar messages to no avail.... Funny since DomainWatch.com reports Burst's DNS servers handing 600+ domains.
Go right ahead.
However, if you could let me know how their tech support is... that would be appreciated (i.e. is it really 24x7)?

I can't really vouch for 24x7... I haven't had any pressing problems that prompted me to send a message to their 'emergency contact'.
BUT, I can vouch for late evening support. On several occasions, I have posted a message to their ICQ account and received a response. It ranged from 5 minutes to 2 hours...
I have found them courteous and knowledgeable.

Anyone else have an opinion on BurstNET? Why do I hear so many people mention them as a possible web host, but no one has an opinion on them - besides Matt and Brian (Hey Brian, if you have more input, now that Matt put two more cents in, feel free)?
Is it that they have a non-disclosure aggrement on their customers? HeeHee

Perhaps there are some people who are even neutral as far as how good BurstNET is... Please let me know. I'd just like to hear from more BurstNET customers!
