Best / Worst Hosting Resellers?
Up until this point I have acquired hosting accounts on a case by case basis for my small business web design clients.
I'm now looking for a good hosting reseller plan to offer my clients.
GoDaddy, PowWeb & LunarPages have been my main sources in the past for hosting.
I'm looking at good customer service, reliability, control panel and features.
Any recommendations or warnings?
Thanks

Don't go with Network 11. I use them and have way too much trouble. If it weren't so hard to move every site, I'd have left them long ago.

We don't use them for reselling, but we have a couple of domains hosted with them. Not too bad with the prices either. We've never really had any downtime with them. They own Host Affection which is who we have our domains through.

I don't think that 6 months is too short. Usually you find out all you need to know about the host in that time.

I went the easy route and went with Yahoo Small Business for my familys webpage. For $9.56 a month i get 5 GB of space and 200 E-mail Addresses. I am not sure on the bandwitith though.....
HAHA,
Working on some sites that are of better quality!

I only pay $14.95 a month and get 5000 MB in unlimited files and 150.0 GB a month on transfers. I can have as many email addresses I want and I have up to 10 domains that can be hosted. I went with the Guru plan. Even with a forum board and graphics hosted on a domain for LJ things, I still never get near the BW usage for the month. Been with them since February and love them.
Why did you go with Yahoo? Just asking.

many hosting companies claim that they are great, 99.99 % uptime, fast speed and offer very low price..... but at end of the day, POOR SUPPORT !
try see how other people comment on a hosting company by typing "xxx company hosting" in search engine, and see how other people comment it. remember, price is not important, the SUPPORT is , especially if you go for reseller hosting.

Although I use a small local company now, I highly recommend Pair. I used them for all my sites before switching to the guy I now use. They were great, including customer support.

I use bluehost.com for my clients. Plus you can setup an affiliate program and receive 65 bucks back per host setup. Its like 7.65 a month.
