Anyone Use Host Monster?
I am looking at getting hosting that allows the use of unlimited domains, unlimited e-mails, autoresponders, submdomains, has a blog, forum, shopping cart, basically has it all.
I came across Host Monster and was wondering if anyone is using it. They host unlimited sites and seem to have every other feature I am looking for at a very resonable price and rather than just sign up with them which I presume is for the year I though I would seek some advice first.
Any help would be grateful.
What I am planning to do is set up a load of websites that promote affiliate products through reviews. eg. would be a dating website that reviews 10 different dating options.

Hi - be wary of anyone offering unlimited anything - it's usually subject to hidden fair usage policies, CPU process limits or other tricks. Trust me, as someone that works for a hosting provider I know that anything marked as unlimited always has a get out clause for the host. You would be better off working out how much you need and then finding a provider that offers a package that meets your needs rather than hoping that unlimited will give you everything you want and more (especially if the unlimited host is also a cheap host).
Think of it this way - can you buy a hard drive with unlimited space yet? Do you really think a host would let you store a terabyte of data for just a few dollars a month. Anything offered as unlimited is a marketing ploy plain and simple.

Would have used them if I didn't have to pay a year's worth in advance.

Host Monster is great. But if you want to do the month to month thing go with Host Gator. I wouldn't recommend going month to month though. It's a pain to keep switching hosts. You might as well find one that you can stay with. HostMonster is definitely a great one.

I saw host monsters ad somewhere and i've seen their site. I find it very funny the resemblance between the names of host monster and host gator. Although I have never tried host monster, I noticed they do not provide very many types of support. I personally love the live chat thing, it provides quick support.
As for host gator, look online for reviews. When I was searching for a host, host gator came up with horrible reviews about their support. I did read some good reviews, so you may want to research more. Plus, if you go with their cheapest plan, you have to commit to yearly payment. The high spaces and bandwidth they provide are just a gimmick, they know very well 99% of their customers use just a fraction.
Anyways, just consider everything. I bet both those companies have a ton of reviews written about them, check them out but make sure they are unbiased. I personally use arvixe.com and recommend them highly obviously, check them out too. good luck.

Hello. As faras undesstand hostmonster quite new web hosting company. I'd trust new and small company becvause they try hard for ever new customer. In this case I trust small companies like hostmonster.com, siteocity.com, westhost.com etc.
Why not?
In any case you'll be able to make refund or chargeback.
